   Massachusetts attorney general reports nearly 1,000 likely victims of Boston clergy

   Attorney General Thomas Reilly's report concluded that more than 1,000 people were likely abused by Boston-area clergy since 1940 and that church leaders' secrecy enabled it, though no officials could be charged under then-current law.
